Your Mentor

  • Fort Green Founder Bannie Williams, has been studying movement mechanics for 15 years. With a degree in Exercise Science and a number of Yoga & Pilates trainings under her belt, Bannie has been teaching movement modalities in studios for almost a decade. Bannie has been operating successful studios for 8+ years ago and developed the Fort Green Teacher Training Education platform. Bannie is passionate about educating, training and mentoring aspiring teachers who are committed to turning their practice into a career.

    Whether you’ve completed your 200 hour YTT, or a Mat certification, Bannie has the knowledge, personal and industry experience to help you make the most out of your certification and thrive in the industry.

  • Bannie’s approach is warm, supportive and practical. Bannie brings over a decade of experience with teaching Yoga and Pilates classes, hiring new teachers, brand development and teacher training. Bannie takes a holistic view when it comes to teaching in the industry and honours each teachers individual style, interests and skill set. Bannie manages a team of over 25 teachers across the studios and has cultivated a community of over 300 members.

  • You will feel supported, inspired and receive a realistic and personalised plan to achieve your teaching goals. Your individual style as a teacher will be honoured and Bannie will provide honest, practical feedback to progress your career.

Our Packages

  • $495/ 6-8 week engagement.

    Build your confidence & refine your teaching. Designed for teachers who are newly qualified, returning to teaching or looking for more confidence and direction.

    Includes:

    • 3 × 1:1 class check-ins with Bannie (in person or via zoom)

    • Personalised feedback on teaching, sequencing, cueing and presence

    • Individual teaching development strategy

    • Teaching a community class on the Fort Green schedule

    • 1 × session on the business of being a teacher, including CV development

    • Career direction + next-step planning

    • End-of-program review

    Best for: Teachers wanting additional support after completing a training and wanting to refine their skills.

  • $1100/ 12 week engagement

    Take your teaching from good to distinctive. For teachers who want to develop their own voice, build a following and understand how to make the industry work for them.

    Includes everything in Foundation, plus:

    • 5 × 1:1 class check-ins with Bannie

    • 2 × business strategy sessions

    • Career + income planning

    • How to approach studios and secure work

    • Developing your own teaching style + point of difference

    • Personal brand positioning

    • Class / timetable strategy

    • Ongoing support between sessions

    • End-of-program career roadmap

    Best for: Teachers ready to move beyond teaching classes and start intentionally building a career.

  • $2250- 6 month Engagement

    A deeper mentorship for building your career in movement. Including opening a studio, launching retreats and business expansion strategy.

    The most comprehensive program, with Bannie working closely with you across teaching, building a business, career and brand.

    Includes everything in Build plus:

    • 3 x sessions on business concept development. Including vision, pricing, profitability and longevity.

    • Setting realistic business goals and creating a road map for a new business endeavour including forecasting.

    • Marketing strategies and launch preparation for opening the new business

    • Budgeting and costs related to launching a new business development or studio.

    Best for: Teachers or practitioners who want Bannie as a mentor while they actively build their own business in the yoga & Pilates industry. A comprehensive entrepreneurial experience.
